What was the highlight of Hotel Rival
Very Good
It's a great hotel and not super expensive - big clean rooms and great bar (with a few swedish celebs!) Also fantastic hats which one can buy in receptions - always surprisingly cold in Stockholm. Good location - the more bohemian/arty part but actually very up market. Charming reception staff which makes you feel special and important.
The staff in the bar was a bit bored and not very upservenat. Tried to get their attention a few times (another glass of wine and later the bill) but eventually had to walk to them to get their attention. It was at tuesday evening so 2 staff on and not very busy. Otherwise was food and drinks good, although the Skagen smörgås (big) was very small! so wonder how small a small version would be ..

Excellent breakfast, great staff, the common areas were very nice. The rooms were ok.

Wonderful
Location perfect, Nice, cosy feeling. Bed and linen VERY nice. Great breakfast buffet and a la carte breakfast. Nice Breakfast room. Excellent service.
